Bruce Power Helps To Recycle E-Waste

For the fifth consecutive year, Bruce Power has collected and recycled almost 10,000 lbs of electronic waste.

In a collaboration with Habitat For Humanity, Bruce Power collected e-waste from their employees for Earth Week. The effort is made to ensure electronics are collected and recycled responsibly, to reduce the impact on landfills and the environment.

Each year, Bruce Power sends roughly 30,000 lbs of e-waste to be recycled. Bruce and Habitat For Humanity have worked on this partnership for a number of years now, and Bruce Power has pledged $75,000 per year for the next three years to help Habitat with their initiatives. This year, they will build another home in the Sauble Beach area.
