OPP Identify Victim Of Car-Pedestrian Fatality South Of Belgrave

Huron County OPP have released the name of the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car south of Belgrave Wednesday afternoon.

The woman has been identified as 73-year-old Lena Siegers of Brussels.

Emergency personnel and police responded to the intersection of London Rd. and Morris Rd. shortly after 1pm yesterday afternoon.

Police have confirmed that the woman was walking on London Rd. when she was hit by a southbound car.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for today.
