Collingwood Neighbours Save Elderly Man Who Slipped Into The Water

Collingwood OPP helped a resident save an elderly man who had slipped into the water.
OPP say the 85-year-old man was walking along a path at the Lighthouse Point Condominium Complex about 6:30 yesterday morning when he slipped down about five feet into the water.
Another resident heard the call for help, and held the victim above water while dialing 911 for help.
Police arrived and helped lift the man out of the water.
He was taken to the local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
