Hazardous Waste Collection In Owen Sound Tomorrow

Many Grey County residents can take advantage of the first Household Hazardous Waste Day of 2016 taking place in Owen Sound.

Residents can drop off hazardous materials at the Public Works Facility at 1900 20th St E between 9am and 2pm on Saturday.

People who live in Owen Sound, Chatsworth, Georgian Bluffs, Grey Highlands, Meaford and West Grey can all take advantage of the program.

A limited number of fluorescent tubes and compact lamps will also be accepted.

This is the first of 8 hazardous waste collection days planned this year in the region.

Hazardous waste from commercial, industrial and farm operations will not be accepted.
