Minto Population Growth Prediction

Predicted population growth for the Town of Minto suggests 50 new homes a year will be built over the next 25 years.

That compares to about 30 homes a year that have been built over the last ten years.

Wellington County predicts the total population of Minto will increase from about 9,000 to just under 13,000 by 2041, which would be an additional 1,300 households.

Minto council heard the municipality has the infrastructure in place to accommodate about half the expected increase.

Additional infrastructure updates over the next decade will look after the remainder.
