Fanshawe College Goderich Campus Officially Opens

Fanshawe College officially has a campus in Goderich.

The new campus on the Kingston Block just off the Square opened Wednesday.

Fanshawe President Peter Devlin commented that the crowd at the official opening was an accurate reflection of the support they've received from the town of Goderich and the business community, and that's why Fanshawe is in Goderich.

Devlin believes there is tremendous potential for growth in Goderich and points out the two-year diploma course also provides pathways into their degree programs.

Former Deputy Mayor John Grace was instrumental in bringing Fanshawe to Goderich and says the two-year entrepreneurial course that will start is September will be a huge asset to the area.

Grace adds between the classroom experience and the technology that can support that, students will be able to remain in Huron County and receive the same college experience they would get in downtown London.
