Room For Growth at E.S.T.C. in Blyth

The Chair of Huron County's Economic Development Board sees significant potential in the Emergency Services Training Centre in Blyth.

Jim Lynn says the Centre has considerable potential to create jobs and attract people to the county, but adds structurally, some improvements could be made to make it commercially viable.

The Board would also like to see a process in place to measure the advancement of the Centre.

The Training Centre has asked the county for 284 thousand dollars over three years.

North Huron's C-A-O requested a meeting with the Economic Development Board to discuss future plans for the Blyth Centre.
