Reeve Neil Vincent says the hiring of a new CAO for North Huron was one of the key accomplishments in 2015.
He says the addition of Sharon Chambers helped North Huron council organize and make better use of resources.
"We're always being forced to do more with less, and Sharon Chambers is definitely working with us on that and it's a pleasure working with a CAO that's as dedicated as she is," says Reeve Neil Vincent.
Vincent adds placing emphasis on economic development this year helped to steer the municipality forward. But he notes that the emphasis on economic development will be beneficial in some areas. more than others.
"With everything else that's been going on, I think some of it was maybe pushed a little too fast and we may not be able to maximize all the benefits we could if we had of been able to give it more attention," adds Vincent.
