The current fundraising drive for the United Way Perth-Huron is making progress. The campaign has reached 20 percent of its goal.
Andrew Williams, 2015 campaign chair, says donations are up from last year and many workplaces have just started their campaigns. Williams is confident that they can surpass the $1,275,000 goal.
This year marks the beginning of a three-year campaign.
"Donors will still have opportunity to give each year but for the first time they can pledge over a three year period. With the help of our donors, supported partners will be able to count on United Way funding for a three year period allowing them to make more impact in our community," says Executive Director Ryan Erb.
