Minto Recognizes Local Athletes

A number of Minto athletes were honoured at Minto council Tuesday.

The three recipients of recognition were the Palmerston Marlins girl bantam ball team for winning the 2015 eastern Canadian Fastball Championship;   Wayne Martin of Palmerston who coached the Under 16 Canadian Softball Champions, the Chepstow Lightning;   and Dwight Robinson of Minto who was part of the pit crew of the 2015 Canadian Tire NASCAR series champions.
