Work begins this week on the 6th Avenue West reconstruction project in Owen Sound. The work will include about 200 metres of new sewer services, water mains , water services, and re-surfacing. 6th Avenue West will be closed to through traffic from 12th Street West to Alpha Street during the project. Access for local traffic and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Harold Sutherland Construction Ltd was awarded the tender. The project is expected to wrap up by the end of October.
