Heat Warning Ended

The heat warning for Huron, Perth, Grey, Wellington and southern Bruce Counties has ended.

After three days of oppressive heat and humidity across the region, Environment Canada ended the warning this morning.

While it will remain warm, high temperatures for the day are expected to be in the high 20-degree range, which is below the 31-degree threshold for a heat warning.

There is still the chance of some showers and thunderstorms.

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
