Ben Lobb Starts Huron-Bruce Campaign By Looking Back

About 200 party faithful came out to celebrate past Conservative federal and provincial members last night at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Wingham.

Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb hosted the event and explained that he wanted to recognize the 50th anniversary of the election in Huron-Bruce of Robert McKinley.

The elections of Huron-Bruce MP's Elston Cardiff, Murray Cardiff and Doctor Gary Gurbin were also recognized, along with MPP's Barb Fisher and Helen Johns.

One of the highlights of the night was a video featuring archival photographs and video of the former members.

The guest speaker for the event was former journalist and current Conservative MP for Thornhill, Peter Kent.
