Peninsula's Walk To Create Possibilities Set For August

Hundreds are expected to make the 30 km walk from Lion’s Head to Wiarton later this month in support of the Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation.

The second-annual Walk to Create Possibilities on August 22 will see funds go towards local and regional cardiac and cancer care facilities.

"You can participate on your own, you can participate in a team of four," BPHSF Special Events Coordinator Tiffany Roberts tells CKNX News. "You can walk the whole way or just some of the way, or even in a relay team."

Last year, 65 walkers raised over $54,000 towards the foundation.

More on how to get involved can be found here.
