No Injuries After Three Car Collision In Owen Sound

No one was injured when three cars collided in Owen Sound's downtown core Sunday afternoon.

Owen Sound Police officials say a 76-year-old Owen Sound man driving a Kia Sportage ran a red light at 9th St. E and 2nd Ave. E at around 11:10am.

Police say the Kia was then struck by a westbound Mazda, which sent the Kia into a Toyota Corolla that was stopped at the intersection.

The driver of the Kia has been charged with disobeying a red light.

The 900-block of 2nd Ave. E and the 200-block of 9th St. E were closed for around 40 minutes while police investigated.
