Pick Ups Collide Near Milverton

A teenager from Central Ontario is facing a charge of Careless Driving, following a two-vehicle crash near Milverton.

The collision yesterday morning on Perth Line 50 involved two pickup trucks. Police say it appears a GMC Sierra pickup was in the process of making a three point turn when it steered into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

A 28-year-old North Perth woman driving the Silverado had to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. She was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the Sierra pickup was an 18-year-old male from Nippising Township. He was not injured. The OPP have charged him with Careless Driving.
