Special Investigations UnitThe SIU is investigating an incident after South Bruce OPP officers were confronted by an armed female.
The incident happened on Queen St. in Kincardine Friday night around 9 p.m. Police were confronted by a female who was armed. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect who was then arrested under provisions of the Mental Health Act and taken to a local hospital where she was admitted.
Today, the OPP were notified of allegations of injury by the female suspect.
The SIU is now investigating.
