UPDATE: Man Injured In Crash On Hwy. 86 Near Amberley

A 66-year old man had to be airlifted to a London hospital after a crash on Hwy. 86 in Bruce County near Amberley involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

The crash happened just before 11 a.m. this morning at the intersection of Hwy. 86 and Bruce County Rd. 7, which is the road that leads north to Ripley.

The Ripley Fire Department along with Bruce County paramedics responded to the scene.

Police say a Harley Davidson Ultra Glide and a Ford Explorer were involved in the crash.

The 66-year old motorcyclist from Princeton suffered serious injuries.

Hwy. 86 was closed for the afternoon and opened shortly after 6 p.m.
