Police Charge Two Teens in Goderich Graffiti Case

Two teens have been arrested and charged in connection to offensive graffiti in Goderich that started to appear at the end of June.

Some buildings in the town were defaced with racial and homophobic slurs, including a swastika, and other obscene messages in a period from June 30th to July 5th.

With the public's assistance Huron County OPP were able to identify a pair of suspects and made one arrest Sunday night. On Monday morning the second suspect was arrested.

The first suspect, a 19-year-old from Goderich faces mischief and weapons charges and will appear in court via video today .

The second, a 14-year-old from Central Huron faces mischief charges and will appear in Youth Court in August.
