Morris Turnberry Rejects Cross Border Service Deal with North Huron

North Huron has directed its staff to review a cross-border services policy after Morris-Turnberry opposed their 30 per cent tax on new developments using North Huron’s water and sewers.

The two sides met earlier this month, with Morris-Turnberry official saying the annual cost for water and sewer would be ‘unacceptable’.

Morris-Turnberry ratepayers currently pay one-and-a-half times the North Huron base rate for the utilities
