Wellington North Showcase a Success

The sixth annual Wellington North Showcase is a sell out again.

The two-day showcase of local businesses is open to the public today from 1-8 p,m, with free admission at the Mount Forest Sports Complex.

Wellington North Mayor Andy Lennox described this year’s event which was open on Monday to businesses, as “bigger and better”.

Minto Mayor and also Wellington Warden George Bridge said it was a fabulous networking opportunity for local business and residents. Wellington North’s Tourism, Marketing and Promotion Manager April Marshall says: "We have some special features this year and it’s just a good day for everybody to come out and see what’s available in their own community."

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
