Environment Canada has put Huron, Perth, Bruce, Grey and Wellington counties under a freezing rain warning as forecasters predict a low pressure system could bring precipitation to the region early this morning.
The national weather service says the system could bring freezing rain to much of the province starting at around dawn in areas to the southwest.
The freezing rain will likely persist for a few hours before changing to rain later in the morning or early in the afternoon.
Officials say ice accumulation is possible in some locales.
