With Spring set to begin on Friday night, the ice concentration continues to decrease along the Great Lakes.
Data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in the United States shows Lake Huron has an ice concatenation of 56%. That total has fallen over 20% in the past seven days.
In total, 52% of the Great Lakes are frozen, which is down from 80% this time last year.
Spring officially arrives at 6:45pm on Friday night.
