Blue Mountain Skier Dies In Hospital

The OPP says the 16-year-old female skier who sustained life-threatening injuries on Blue Mountain yesterday has died.

Collingwood and the Blue Mountains OPP says officers were called to the scene at about 1:25pm on Tuesday.

Police say she was transported to an area hospital and later air lifted to a Toronto hospital.

The 16-year-old girl was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
