Four County Labour Wants Business Input

Employers in Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties are going to be asked for their input next month.

The Four County Labour Market Planning Board wants employers to share their workforce needs with the stakeholders who can provide solutions.

The EmployerOne Survey is designed to get an understanding of the demands of the labour market in a confidential manner.

Employers are asked to answer the questions between January 2nd and January 30th.

The survey is conducted once a year. It gives businesses a chance to communicate their occupational, training and skills needs, and have a say in how to train and equip the workforce for the future.

“We want to continue using your input as the basis for our answer to workforce challenges,” said Gemma Mendez Smith, FCLMPB executive director. “Response to our Skills Gap Study has formed the foundation for many initiatives in the community, and we want to keep building on that foundation.”

You can find the survey at www.planningboard.ca/survey
