Bruce County Crash Kills One

Police are investigating after a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of one person in Carrick Township.

South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday around 4pm, officers responded to the crash along Bruce County Rd. 12 where the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the person killed in the crash has been withheld pending the notification of next of kin.

Crash reconstruction investigators are at the scene and Bruce County Rd. 12 has been closed between Grubb Line and Hwy. 9 while officers conduct their investigation.
