A new healthcare partnership is developing in Perth County.
The boards of the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance, Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton, and the Mitchell Nursing Home and Ritz Lutheran Villa have unanimously endorsed a collaboration study. The Southwest Local Health Integration Network was a partner in the study.
Among other things, the document emphasized the potential for improvement in the resident and patient experience, improving quality, safety, access, efficiency and effectiveness of care, as well as learning from leading practices across the system.
The three organizations have agreed to work closer together to strengthen the delivery of care. Representatives will also be meeting to develop a shared vision for the next step in this process.
