Blyth Witches Walk Successful

It was a successful year for the Blyth Witches Walk.

Organizers estimate between 1,500 and 2,000 people turned out for the Halloween-themed walk on the Greenway trail.

A small group of volunteers have been giving the trail a spooky makeover since 2002.

Admission is by donation, and proceeds this year went to the food bank, Lions Club, Greenway trail, and the Blyth 14/19 campaign.

This year, the Witches Walk was listed as one of the top six Halloween events to see in rural Ontario by online magazine The Ruralist.
