67's edge Knights 2-1 in OT

The London Knights suffered a 2-1 a close overtime loss to the Ottawa 67's on Friday.

After a scoreless first period, Adam Boqvist gave London a 1-0 lead 9:12 into the second. However, Ottawa scored late in the frame to tie the game heading into the third.

Neither team scored in the third period, forcing OT where Ottawa scored the game-winning goal 4:59 into extra time.

London goaltender Joseph Raaymakers made 25 saves out of 27 shots on net.

The Knights are on the road again on Saturday to take on the Frontenacs in Kingston. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
