Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up — January 11, 2018

The London Nationals edged the Leamington Flyers 3-2 in overtime on Thursday for their seventh straight victory.

Cohen Kiteley and Max Vinogradov each scored once for London, and Jordan Di Cicco scored the game-winner in OT

Cody Schneider and Maddux Rychel scored the two goals for Leamington.

The Flyers will travel to St. Marys on Friday to face off against the Lincolns at 7:30pm. And then on Saturday, the Nationals are in Strathroy to take on the Rockets at 7:30pm.

Also in the GOJHL, the LaSalle Vipers topped the Sarnia Legionnaires 3-2 in overtime.

Manny Silverio scored the game-winner in OT for LaSalle, and had another goal during regular play. Tyler Russell added the other goal.

The win continues a five-game winning streak for LaSalle.

The Vipers return home on Wednesday to battle the Leamington Flyers at 7pm.

And in Junior C hockey, the Essex 73's fell 2-1 to the Petrolia Flyers.

Anthony Cristofaro scored the single goal for Essex.

The 73'sare on the road on Monday and will take on the Wheatley Sharks at 7pm.
