Injuries minor after child hit by vehicle

London police say no charges will be laid after a collision that injured a 12-year-old pedestrian.

Emergency crews were called to Hamilton Road, just east of Gore Road, where the child was hit late Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics took the 12-year-old to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle and witnesses remained on scene and no charges were laid in relation to the investigation.

Drivers are reminded to be extra attentive as kids are now out of school for the summer break and may not be paying attention to traffic.
