London police investigate shooting in Oakridge

London police are looking for information after one person was shot following a collision in Oakridge on Friday night.

Police responded to a call around 11 p.m. of a motor vehicle collision and gun shots fired in the area of Fiddlers Green Road and Oxford Street West.

Officers say upon arrival, they found damage to multiple vehicles and evidence that a firearm had been discharged, however no victim was present.

Shortly after, police were notified the victim had attended a hospital with suspected gunshot wound.

They say the victim was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is being led by members of the London Police Major Crime Section, who are asking anyone who was in the area around the time of the disturbance to contact the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670.
