Man charged, airsoft gun seized after Old South shooting

One person had to be taken to hospital after being shot with what turned out to be an airsoft gun in Old South.

London police were called to the area of Chester and High streets around 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday where they found a man suffering from minor injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigators determined there had been a disturbance in which a man shot another man before pointing the firearm at a woman.

A suspect was arrested still in the area and an airsoft gun was seized.

A 26-year-old London man is charged with one count of assault with a weapon and two counts of pointing a firearm. He was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
