One person killed in crash north of London

An elderly Londoner is dead after a two-vehicle crash north of the city on Sunday night.

The vehicles collided on Highbury Avenue North between Plover Mills and Ilderton Road in Middlesex Centre just before 8 p.m.

An 85-year-old from London died from their injuries. Their name has not been released.

Three other people were taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed for roughly four hours while the OPP traffic incident management and enforcement team was on scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
