UPDATE: Suspect wanted for indecent exposure at London mall identified

A man wanted for allegedly exposing himself to a teenage girl at a north-end shopping centre has been identified.

The girl was in the common area of the mall in the area of Richmond Street and Fanshawe Park Road when the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on January 13, London police said. A short time after the exposure, the man reportedly walked up to the girl and grabbed her by the arm.

The girl was able to leave the area and tell her mother about the encounter. She was not physically hurt, police said.

The incident was reported to police, who immediately launched an investigation.

On Friday morning, police publicly released surveillance images of the suspect in hopes someone would be able to identify him. Hours later, investigators announced the suspect has been identified.
