Suspects arrested after houses, property damaged

London police have arrested two teenagers after a reportedly stolen vehicle hit multiple homes and other property in the city's east end.

Police received an emergency call just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, they were told that a man's vehicle was taken at gunpoint on Calgary Street.

Police then received multiple calls about the stolen vehicle striking houses and property in the area. The vehicle ended up resting against a house in the area of Churchill Avenue and Manitoba Street.

There were no injuries reported following the incident.

An 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both of London, have been jointly charged with armed robbery and the theft of a motor vehicle.

The 18-year-old also faces charges of pointing a firearm and disobeying a court order.

The 17-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving, assault, and resisting arrest.

The names of the suspects won't be shared under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
