Delaware couple wins nearly $200K

A couple from Delaware says no decisions will be made until they process their win after winning over $191,000 in a Lotto 6/49 draw.

Andrew Marsh and Jyoti Joshi won the second prize in the January 20, 2024 draw. According to Marsh, he had been saving some free play tickets and used them to get tickets for the January 20 draw.

"We have a ritual where I bring home our tickets, we both kiss it for luck and I check it later," Marsh said. "A few days after the draw, I stopped to check my ticket and I was in shock. I had to ask the store clerk if the ticket checker was working right. I checked it again and went out to the car to call Jyoti!"

The winning ticket was purchased at The Little Beaver Variety on Longwoods Road in Delaware.

"It hasn't fully set in. I thought I had already won the lottery when I met Andrew – I never thought I'd find ourselves actually winning," said Joshi.
