Three people are facing drug trafficking charges after a raid on a Woodstock home turned up nearly $20,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Officers with the Woodstock police criminal intelligence and drug enforcement unit, with the help of emergency response unit, canine unit, and uniform patrol searched a home in the city on Wednesday. The investigation turned up a replica firearm, suspected cocaine, and suspected fentanyl.
The approximate street value of the drugs seized is more than $19,600, police said.
Two men, aged 31 and 36, and a 48-year-old woman, all from Woodstock were arrested. They have been charged with two counts each of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The 31-year-old man is additionally charged with possession of an identity document and failure to comply with an undertaking.
