Motorcyclist sought after knife-point convenience store robbery

Provincial police are searching for a suspect after a knife-point robbery at a convenience store southeast of London.

According to Elgin OPP, a man wearing full motorcycle gear, including a helmet, walked into the unnamed business on Ron McNeil Line in Malahide Township shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday. The man grabbed a quantity of alcohol and attempted to leave without paying.

When he was confronted by a store employee and another customer, the man allegedly pulled out a knife. There was a brief struggle and the man took off.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as White, approximately 5'11", and wearing a dark-grey closed helmet, a bright blue jacket with a plaid undershirt, black pants, white sneakers, and red/black gloves. The motorcycle he was riding is described as a Black sport bike, similar to a Kawasaki Ninja, with damage to the left side.
