Woodstock police arrest four in months-long drug trafficking investigation

Four people have been charged for allegedly supplying fentanyl to residents of the Woodstock and Waterloo areas.

Police said the joint investigation with the Waterloo police drugs and firearms unit began in early 2023.

Throughout the course of the investigation, officers executed search warrants at three separate residences in Kitchener, Nobleton, and Toronto, which resulted in the seizure of suspected drugs, three vehicles, and about $140,000 in currency.

About three kilograms of fentanyl and cocaine were discovered, along with several ounces of methamphetamine, 10 kg of a cutting agent, and other items indicative of drug trafficking, according to Woodstock police.

Police said a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta, 2023 Porche 24G, and a 2020 Mercedes G-Wagon were also seized as proceeds of crime. The total value of the three vehicles is about $500,000.

As a result of this investigation, a 38-year-old woman and 44-year old man of Cambridge were arrested, as well as a 31-year-old man from Nobleton and a 42-year-old man of no specified address.

All four of the accused have been charged with drug trafficking-related offences, police said.
