Woodstock childcare service owner accused of sexual touching

A Woodstock man who ran a childcare service in the city faces a pair of unsettling charges.

Late Friday evening, Woodstock police announced that the accused was arrested on Thursday.

The man, identified by police as 37-year-old Trevor Hendershott, has been charged with invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference.

Police believe Hendershott is actively involved in other youth-based programs in Woodstock.

Investigators are working with members of the Oxford Children's Aid Society and are encouraging anyone with information about any suspected incidents involving the accused to call police.
