Woman charged after man stabbed in northeast London

A stabbing in north London has left a man in hospital with serious injuries.

London police were called about the incident inside of a home on McNay Street near Huron Street around 10 p.m. Thursday. Investigators determined two acquaintances were involved in a verbal argument when one person pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.

When emergency crews arrived they found the man suffering from serious, non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Doris Caribou, 66, of London was arrested. She has been charged with aggravated assault and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
