Crash involving school bus sends three to hospital

Three people were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus north of London.

The bus and two passenger vehicles collided on Elginfield Road in Lucan Biddulph just before 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

Two students were on board the school bus at the time of the crash. One suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, the other was assessed by paramedics at the scene, Middlesex OPP said.

One person from each of the two passenger vehicles was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Elginfield Road between Adelaide Street North and Highway 23 was closed while officers investigated the cause of the crash and cleared debris. The road was reopened around noon.
