Man killed in crash involving transport identified

A 67-year-old from Mississauga has been identified as the man killed in a crash involving a transport truck west of London late last week.

Middlesex OPP confirmed Wednesday, William Michael Jolly was in the SUV that collided with the big rig on Egremont Drive, just east of Kerwood Road in Adelaide Metcalfe just after 2 p.m. last Friday. Jolly was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. They are asking anyone with information "that may be helpful" to call them at 1-888-310-1122.
