OPP investigate fatal collision in Adelaide Metcalfe

One person has been pronounced dead after a collision involving a transport truck and an SUV near Strathroy.

According to police, at 2:10 p.m. on Friday, Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service, and Adelaide Metcalfe fire were dispatched to a serious collision on Egremont Drive, just east of Kerwood Road.

One person travelling in the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two others were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The roadway will remain closed while the accident is investigated.
