Middlesex OPP are turning to the public for help as they investigate the cause of a fatal overnight crash.
Around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, two vehicles crashed in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Elgin Road in Thames Centre.
Police said one person died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased is being withheld until a next-of-kin is notified.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement are assisting with the investigation.
The highway has been reopened to traffic.
