London police are hoping the public can help them identify a driver in a hit and run involving a pedestrian.
According to police, around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, a man walking in the area of Byron Avenue and Birch Street was hit by the open door of a moving vehicle.
"The driver allegedly opened the door of the vehicle, entered into an argument with the victim, and proceeded to reverse the car, striking the pedestrian in the process," police said.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries police describe as "serious, but non-life threatening."
The vehicle, shown above, is a small black hatchback, possibly a Mazda, with winter tires.
The driver is a Caucasian male, likely between 30 and 40 years of age. He had short, dark hair and was wearing a button-down shirt.
