OPP investigate death in Simcoe

Provincial police in Norfolk County are looking into the sudden death of a Simcoe man.

According to Ontario Provincial Police, emergency crews responded to a medical complaint at a residence on Hendry Street at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived, they located a 36-year-old man dead on the Norfolk Sunrise Trail. A post-mortem exam has been scheduled in order to determine the cause of his death.

"The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. Once new information becomes available an update will be provided," a statement from OPP read.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
