Using a pickup truck, three people tried to get inside of the unnamed business on Melbourne Road around 6:30 a.m. last Saturday. The trio were interrupted by the owner of the business which prompted one of the suspects to discharge a firearm, police said.

The suspects then took off in the pickup which was found abandoned nearby shortly after.

No injuries were reported.
