One sent to hospital after separate crashes in northeast London

Two separate crashes in northeast London Tuesday morning sent one person to hospital and caused major traffic delays.

Emergency crews were called to Clarke Road north of Kilally Road around 7 a.m. after a vehicle and a transport truck collided. A second collision was reported in the same area shortly after, London police said.

One person was taken to hospital. The extent of that individual's injuries have not been released.

Clarke Road between Fanshawe Park Road and Kilally Road was closed following the collisions and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
